| Melissa's Newlywed Door Wreath |
I had the wonderful pleasure of creating Melissa's wedding flowers for her last year. However, she did not get married until recently. (how's that for advanced planning?)
She contacted me recently because her brother is getting married and she wanted him to see the flowers I create. But she had an additional request - she wanted a heart wreath for her door as she is a brand new newlywed. What a sweet thing that is!
It reminded me of what I did when my husband and I got married. At the time, lived in a beautiful, tree-lined neighborhood full of old homes with classic white picket fences. (truth be known, we miss that home)
One day I got caught up in how wonderful it is to be a newlywed and painted a heart on each picket of our fence. I understand Melissa's feelings and I know each time she walks up to her door, her heart will be filled with love.
This is just one of the many reasons why I love being a wedding florist.
