For a Winter Theme Wedding
Image

I finished these flowers on Friday and I'm happy to say that this bride wanted some Blue in her flowers. A first!

Her theme is Winter so I put a surprise in her bouquet - A Crystal Snowflake Bouquet jewel. I've had it for over two years, just waiting for a bouquet.

As you know, most of my brides love my tropical style so requests for something like White and Blue just don't happen very often. I hope she loves her surprise!

Back Home and Such A Busy Week!
Image
My vacation was much needed but coming back home to over 500 emails is a tough thing to catch up on - not to mention all the weddings I'm booking this week.

Here is a gorgeous wedding photo sent to me this week by a bride I worked with last year (she actually ordered her flowers from me so far in advance that I didn't even have this website yet!)

I'm doing her brothers wedding flowers this week as well.

My last blog post until the end of October
Image
I can't believe I will be leaving in just a few days on vacation. So excited!

One more wedding to finish and I'm turning in my florist hands for some pretty ones!

Although I will return October 19th, I imagine it is going to take me 3 or 4 days to get caught up on all the emails that will be waiting for me!

A Destination Wedding !
Image
As you can imagine, my love for anything tropical and beachy has attracted like-minded brides to my business.

These wedding flowers are a great example of how a mix of colors can look with water behind them

Getting Ready for a Long Vacation and Much Needed Fun!
Here they are on a cruise we went on!
Here they are on a cruise we went on!
Even though I LOVE making bridal flowers, I equally love traveling. I will be gone from October 3rd - 19th for a much needed break from business.

I will be traveling to Alabama to see my Daughter and her family, then on to Florida for a Carnival Cruise to see the Eastern Caribbean. This will be my 4th cruise. I love the idea of not having to cook or clean up for a whole week!

I feel very blessed to be able to go on such a grand vacation - especially given the state of the economy.

Believe it or not, I'm also excited about being able to paint my finger nails red again! Before I started doing wedding flowers, red nails were my trademark. Every single week I had them done. Now that I'm working with flowers it is not practical. So next weekend they will be done and I'll feel like my old self again!

Even on my wedding day, my nails were red.

Plumeria Bridal and Groom's Bout
Image
What I really like about this bridal set is the fact that this bride is the first one to choose the color combination shown here!

Using the golden mellow yellow with the soft pink Plumeria looks great with the green ribbon.

I've always said that the beauty of the Plumeria I offer is the fact that it can be mixed and matched in so many ways and always come out looking beautiful.

Renelle's Wedding Bouquet
Image
This bouquet is far more grand than it looks in this photo. Renelle requested a very large, full bouquet with a special ribbon treatment.

There are Orchids, Calla lily, Roses, and Crystals throughout. My husband said he thought this was the best bouquet I've ever made!

I sent Renelle an email with a few "sneak peak" photos of her bouquet and a matching bridesmaid bouquet.

Here is her response:

"OMG Roberta!! My flowers are absolutely gorgeous!! When I opened your  email, I just sat there staring with my mouth wide open in shock. I knew my flowers would be beautiful, but they are far beyond what I expected. They are amazing and perfect in every way...I don't know how to thank you enough.

My entire experience with Plumerias Wedding Flower Boutique has been wonderful. You have always been patient and polite to me even though I have sent you many emails and made lots of changes to my flowers. Your customer service is outstanding and surpasses any other business I have ever dealt with.
Thank you so much Roberta!! I'm so in love with my bouquet!!"

Orchids and Roses Make a Beautiful Match
Image
I always get excited when a bride wants me to use roses in her bouquet.

It is a classic wedding flower, and it is absolutely gorgeous. I often want to smell these roses when I'm working with them and I think that says alot!

Another bride ready for her wedding....

This is another example of a design I had in my bridal portfolio that was customized to reflect a bride's vision for her flowers.
